According to sources, iMore reported that the much rumored iPhone 5 may be launched on Wednesday, September 12 at an Apple event. The new iPhone will be available 9 days later after its release, on September 21.
The rumored iPhone 5 is said to have a 3.9 inch display of 1136 x 640 resolution with 16:9 screen aspect. The iPhone 5 is also though to sport a newer design with 3.5mm jack at the bottom with a new and smaller 19-pin dock connector.
Moreover, it is rumored that the iPad Mini and a new iPod Nano will also debut at the same event. The release date for the iPad Mini hasn’t been confirmed yet but it’s told that it will be similar to the new iPhone. Besides, we have news that the iPad Mini will be on the shelves for Christmas.
However, it all of this turn out to be true, then the iPhone 4S would be the top dog for 11 months only, whereas its predecessor the iPhone 4 held the crown for whole 16 months.
