Will Apple’s iPad Mini pricing strategy be aggressive?
Will Apple do that to crush off rivals in the low end tablet segment?
Speculation regarding the pricing issue of Apple’s new iPad Mini has been going on in the industry for a while now.
The New York Times also chimed in with a tame report of the 7.85-inch screen iPad Mini.
However, nothing new was revealed other than the long list of earlier published reports following the issue.
But the NY Times did report did report that the so hyped smaller iPad will be priced significantly lower than the latest model iPad 3 which starts around $499. Apple also offers the iPad 2 starting at $399.
So considering this, would Apple offer the iPad Mini less than $399?
We can say one thing here; If Apple really wants capture the whole tablet market and crush off rivals like Google’s Nexus 7, then aggressive pricing policy is the only way to do it.
The iPad Mini style is the way to do it.
