Google’s Chrome browser for mobile is a hit among free apps at the App Store. Even better the app is also on top of the list of the top free app section too both in the iPhone and iPad category. Not bad for an app released on Wednesday though it was announced on a day ago.
For better user experience Google has developed dedicated versions for the iPhone and the for the iPad’s spacious 9.7-inch display. So now iOS users have yet another alternative to the proprietary Safari browser besides Dolphin, Opera and others.
Chrome Mobile offers the same features as its larger desktop version which includes an integrated address bar and search box, tabbed browsing and switching tab positions. The Incognito mode enables you to browse the internet securely without keeping tracks of your history.
You can also view your opened tabs, bookmarks as well as passwords from other computers and devices that are running the browser. Besides you can transfer Web pages from your computer to your iOS devices remotely to read them, even when you are offline.
This amazing new app has been receiving lavish praises from the iOS users. Of the total 3,574 ratings score counted so far a full 2,855 users rewarded Chrome with a 5-star rating.
