The Apple iPad mini 2, which was unveiled alongside the iPad Air on Sept. 22, is now available across all Apple’s online stores.
The iPad mini 2, which boast a Retina display with a pixel density of 324 ppi, is available in 16 GB to 128 GB models, and come in both Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular variations. The 7.9-inch tablet is available in Space Gray and Silver colors. The device will be shipped with 1 to 3 business days for the 16 GB and 32 GB Wi-Fi version, and 5 to10 business days for the other models.
As usual, the iPad mini 2 is more expensive in Japan, Europe and other territories, when compared to the US, and this is by a huge margin.
For example, In Japan, the 16 GB Wi-Fi only iPad mini 2 costs around $422, which is $399 in the Apple US store. In Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, the same model is priced around $522, while the $682 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version. The latter costs around $529 in the US.
However, the iPad mini 2 is the most expensive in France. A 16 GB Wi-Fi version iPad mini 2 has a price tag of $536.
